What this covers

This policy covers the Bowling Side Action iPad app (used by tournament directors to run bracket and side-pot events) and this website, which shows live results for those events.

What we collect

Your account. Directors sign in with Apple. We receive and store the account identifier Apple provides, and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address. We use these only to tie your events to your account. We never see your Apple password.

Event data. Events you run are stored in our database (Google Firebase): the event name, bowling center, date, and the entries you type in — bowler names, lane numbers, averages, scores, side-pot participation, and payout amounts.

Nothing else. No advertising identifiers, no analytics trackers, no location data, no contacts. The app uses Apple's device attestation (App Check) solely to confirm requests come from the genuine app.

What's public

Live event results — bowler first/last names as entered, scores, standings, and winnings — are viewable by anyone on this website. That's the point of the product: bowlers follow along from their phones. If a bowler asks not to appear, the director can enter initials or a nickname instead of a full name.

What we don't do

We don't sell data. We don't share it with anyone except the service that stores it (Google Firebase, acting on our behalf). We don't use it for advertising, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

Deleting your data

Directors can delete individual events at any time, or delete their entire account (Settings tab → Delete Account) — which permanently removes the account and every event it created from our database and this website. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
